Feeling Lucky?

“Oh, you’re so lucky! I wish I was as lucky as you…”

I hate comments like this...

As I listened to my new favorite audiobook this morning during my walk, I heard the perfect response to this twisted kind of thinking.

The book is “Atomic Habits” by James Clear, and it’s FREAKING AMAZING!

My mind has been blown to smithereens so many times in this book, I’ve lost count.

It’s definitely on my “read 10 times” list.

In Chapter 18, “Advanced Tactics: How to go from being merely good to truly great,” he put all the “luck” thinkers to shame.

“Until you work as hard as those you admire, don’t explain away their success as luck.”

So what does this have to do with you?

Well, how “lucky” are you feeling when it comes to your copy?

Have you put in the work?

Have you paid the price of mastery?

Every business needs good copy to sell their products and services.

But not every business owner is willing to put in the time to master the craft of persuasive copywriting.

And that’s ok.

You have your zone of genius, and you should focus on that.

So the next time you need good copy for a sales page or launch or email sequence, why not save yourself some grief and hire a copywriter? Someone who’s put in the hard work and the time.

But here’s the catch… you have to be willing to test their copy.

Otherwise, what’s the point? Test, test, test. Work, work, work. Revise, revise, revise. Test again, test again, test again…

That’s the name of the game.

If money’s a little slim, another way to make sure your copy is locked and loaded is to get a copy critique.

I’m certainly not the only copywriter out there. But… excuse me for a little bragging… I have a unique talent stack.

Copy critiques are one of my specialties because of my crazy music background.

The same intensive, analytical, laser-focused, almost maniacal approach to music analysis has done wonders for me when it comes to copywriting.

If you have some copy that absolutely HAS to convert, give me a buzz.

I’ll get out my copy microscope and find the leaks in your bucket.

Rather than wait for luck, let’s stack the deck in your favor. Drop me a line and let’s get started.

P.S. Remember, like a rock star, you’re only one hit-song, or hit-sales-letter from making the big time!
